Stainless Steel vs Plated Fittings

The standard Goodridge brake line hoses which are pre-assembled for various vehicle makes and applications are manufactured using a PTFE liner with stainless steel overbraid giving massive strength and durability.

The fittings at each end of the hose are generally manufactured in zinc plated mild steel again very durable and will last many years, although over time the plating may discolour depending on the environment and use.

There is the option of having the fittings manufactured in stainless steel, clearly this means that the fittings will remain bright for the life of the hoses.
